Make the man in your home go to the OTHER room to watch football – WORKS FOR ME =========
HA HA
Do what ever you want. It’s been proven (By Penn & Teller) to be total cow crap.
I heard its not good to have things stored under your bed or have a computer or TV in your room .
Turn your favourite chair, or sofa, toward the wall. Very fashionable and a conversation piece as well.
Look unless you are an expert, you need won’t know what to do. Hire one and have them give you advice. I read a book once and it said something about keep the toilet lid down and bathroom door closed. But seriously if you really want to explore this you have to know a lot about your energy and the energy of the room and then place things that make your life easier.
Make sure you have at least one red wall and make sure there are no mirrors that you can see your reflection in when you wake up because in Feng Shui it is believed that you could scare yourself to death if you see your reflection when you wake up.. That’s all I know about it. And no sharp corners. That throws the flow of energy off balance. You can buy books that will help you.
Feng Shui has many aspects. It all depends what you are looking to accomplish. For example, Feng Shui can be about letting go of the old things that are blocking you which will allow you to bring in the new wonderful things to help you.
Feng Shui also looks at the eight directions in life (Eight Mansions Feng Shui) and places a Bagua (map of these directions) over your home and/or a specific space which guides you in placement of symbolism for each of the areas. For example, if you were looking to bring a wonderful new love interest into your life, you would need to know where the SW part of your home or bedroom is and you would put energies there to help to create romance in your life. You can do that to better a relationship as well.
Feng Shui also looks at the hidden energies and using a technique called “Flying Star Feng Shui” helps you to enhance or “cure” areas with colors, shapes, patterns, etc.
Feng Shui has so many dynamics and there are many sites and books if you want to learn more. Or, you can contact someone if you need further help — there are many practitioners around. Not to self promote, but I do this for free and if you need my help, please write to me at Michelenergy@yahoo.com …
Good luck!
It really depends on what type of Feng Shui you want to know more of: the new age type (where everything is generalized, no calculations, etc) or the classical type (recognized individuality and solutions provided from calculations).
A great way to start is to identify your auspicious/inauspicious directions which is dictated by your Kua number. This will help you find the best directions for your bed to face, etc. To find your Kua number, go to: http://www.smilingbamboo.com/feng-shui-kua/
Next up is to understand the logic of good/bad chi in Feng Shui and why some things are considered ‘good feng shui’ and some ‘bad feng shui’. Read a primer here:

Hope this info helps and good luck!
