Feng Shui Wealth Area - Feng Shui Wealth Tips
Feng Shui Wealth Area

Looking for feng shui wealth tips? If you'd like more of the green stuff (and wouldn't we all?), Feng Shui offers practical advice for improving your wealth. For starters, consider consulting a bagua chart. This chart will help you determine the wealth area of your home. I include a link to a bagua chart in the resource section, but it's easy to determine without one.

To find the wealth area of your home without a bagua map, start at the front door of your home, looking in. Where the left back corner of your home is, is your Wealth Area. To determine the wealth corner of each room, start at the entrance to the room looking in (if there are two entrances, use the dominate one) and again look for the rear left corner of that room.

That is the wealth corner.

Once you know that, you can use that knowledge to enhance both it and the wealth corner of each room to bring more prosperity into your life. For instance, you may decide to include one or more wealth ships, Chinese coins, or perhaps a money frog. Feng Shui Wealth Area

Beyond this, here are some easy to employ feng shui wealth tips:

1. Cover all drains (these symbolize the flowing of wealth away from your house). Simply using the drain stoppers and keeping the toilet lid closed should suffice. You may also opt to close the keep the door to your bathroom closed.

2. Have a water feature in the wealth area of your home.

This could be a fountain, swimming pool, or aquarium. Make sure the water stays clear, and include plants or fish, especially gold fish, in this area. Take good care of these fish and plants! Replace them if they die.

3. Don't have a fountain outside your house with the water flowing away from your house. It should flow toward your house, bringing you wealth and good luck.

4. And perhaps most important: make sure the wealth section of your house is free from needed repairs, and free of clutter. It should be bright, with good energy flow. Feng Shui Wealth Area

Feng Shui Wealth Corner 2010 - 3 Ways to Create Wealth and Abundance

Feng Shui Wealth Corner 2010

The practical application of Feng Shui interior design in every room of your home can have an influence on helping with the creation of your wealth and abundance in terms of your prosperity. (By the way wealth and abundance is not just money it is wealth and abundance in every aspect of your life from friends, family and career). Feng Shui Wealth Corner 2010

However one room in particular can have a significant impact on your Feng Shui wealth. Surprisingly it is the bathroom and its Feng Shui interior design.

1. Location - The location of the bathroom in the house can have a major influence on your wealth and abundance. In terms of Feng Shui if you have a bathroom in the so called "wealth" corner of your home then you are likely to flush your money away unless you carry out some Feng Shui cures or remedies.

Just quickly the wealth corner of your home is the far left hand section of you home if you stand facing the front door. I have numerous clients over many years who have had financial problems until they applied these cures to their bathroom. The penny dropped for one client when I was explaining the concept and siad he now knew why he had gone bankrupt years before as he could clearly remember the layout of the home he was liviung in at the time.

The traditional cures to overcome that problem is to keep the door closed the toilet lid down, hang a small Feng Shui crystal in the window to draw in positive outside energy or chi and to hang a Feng Shui bagua mirror over the door. The concept is to seal in the flushing away energy and introduce positive chi with the crystal. Feng Shui Wealth Corner 2010

2. Feng Shui Interior Design - Decorate your bathroom so that it looks like a spa room in a luxurious hotel. Make it a place to go and relax, so that you can forget all the problems and hassles you are having in your day to day world. As I discuss at my books, use anything in the bathroom which makes you feel good. Trust your intuition. Always design in a way that lifts your spirits.

3. Clutter - in terms of Feng Shui wealth one of the best things you can do in any room is to remove anything which is cluttering up the energy of the space. You want energy to flow easily. So in the bathroom, don't have all your half used cosmetic jars sitting on the vanity, remove the dirty laundry basket and make sure all the surfaces appear clean and are in good order. If things appear to be falling apart in any way this can affect how you feel about your wealth and abundance. The concept of clearing the clutter needs to be applied to all rooms to ensure a smooth flow of chi. It is not really about a short term messy appearance it is about things which have stayed in the same place for a long time, are covered in dust and which are stagnant.

Your Feng Shui Wealth can be significantly affected by your bathroom and these three tips give you some ideas of things to consider to make improvements to your wealth and abundance Feng Shui Wealth Corner 2010

Feng Shui Placement Of Fish Tank - Using a Feng Shui Fish Tank to Attract Wealth and Abundance

Feng Shui Placement Of Fish Tank

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese practice of achieving harmony with the specific placement of certain objects in your home or office, which affects the flow of energy in your surroundings, the Chi (Qi), and this can be positive or negative. Obtaining luck, health and prosperity is usually the main focus of using feng shui. My own theory is that feng shui creates such harmony in your surroundings, that everything that you look at gives you a feeling of well being. If you look at a broken TV screen or that radio that's been sitting there for the last 2 years, you will not feel good, right? Feng Shui cures are used whenever some area of our lives is not going as well as it should, like Romance, Family, Health, Wealth, etc. Feng Shui Placement Of Fish Tank

Now, what does this have to do with your fish tank? Well, it's always good to add an aquarium to obtain wealth and abundance. Having a fish tank can help increase positive Chi in your life. When you are thinking of using a feng shui fish tank, you should also think about putting 8 goldfish (since gold symbolizes wealth and luck) and 1 black fish (to supposedly absorb any bad luck). However, if you can't place such a big tank in your house, just keep an odd number of goldfish. I believe that just having a nice, clean fish tank with a good balance of all the elements is enough.

Aquariums are auspicious because they present a harmonious combination of wealth attracting feng shui factors, and a perfect balance of all 5 feng shui elements:

Water element (the water in the aquarium) Wood Element (the plants in the aquarium) Metal element (use some white and gray rocks in the fish tank, or a round aquarium) Earth element (the rocks and gravel at the bottom of the fish tank) Fire element (gold /yellow, orange and red colors of the fish, as well as the aquarium light) Feng Shui Placement Of Fish Tank

The best area to place your feng shui aquarium is in the Wealth and Abundance area of you Bagua map; the Career area is also a good place to position your aquarium and so is the Health and Family area.

If one of these areas turns out to be in your bedroom, the kitchen, or another unsuitable area, choose the room where you want to put your tank and place it in the Wealth and Abundance area of that room. However, do not place an aquarium in the bedroom or the kitchen. These are the two places where a fish tank can stimulate the Chi too much, making you eat in excess and sleep restlessly (plus the noise of the filter would not let you sleep). The entrance to your home is a nice place to put it if it represents the Career area.

In order to get a good flow of Chi, your tank has to be clean and well taken care off, with happy and healthy fish. A dirty tank and sick fish can emit bad chi and it will do more harm than good. You can use real plants with almost all kinds of fish; just keep them healthy and beautiful. I do not recommend them with Goldfish because they eat them, so you can use plastic plants. It's the appearance that counts. They have to be clean and pretty.

Remember what I told you about looking at things that make you feel good? Using a Feng Shui Fish tank will always give you a good feeling.

Give it a try. Sometimes just believing that things will change, changes them. But with a feng shui fish tank, I can tell you from my own experience, you will be surprised and shocked by the changes you will feel almost immediately. Feng Shui Placement Of Fish Tank

Feng Shui Wedding Gift

You know how there are just those people who are impossible to shop for? They are either never satisfied with what they get, don't even acknowledge your gift, or they already have it. Well, why not give them a gift they are guaranteed to love; the gift that keeps on giving...the feng shui gift of wealth. Feng Shui Wedding Gift

In feng shui, there are many popular and powerful prosperity symbols or objects that if placed in the right location, can help energize your wealth luck and attract money to you over and over again. Sounds good, doesn't it? Who doesn't want that? The wealth and prosperity direction in your home or any room in your house, is the south east corner or wall. This means that any of these objects can be placed here to help attract money to you.

Let's talk about the 4 most popular feng shui gifts for never-ending wealth and abundance.

Golden Rice Bowl

In Chinese culture, being well fed, being healthy and having an abundance of food often translates to an abundance of wealth. This is because eating well, results in greater well-being which results in a more balanced life. If more food equals more wealth, then it makes sense that the golden rice bowl is a symbol of prosperity and subsequently a great feng shui gift to give. Make sure this is displayed in the south east corner of your room for full effect of wealth energy.

Chinese Jade Plant

Going to a housewarming or trying to find that perfect gift for the green thumb in your life? A great feng shui gift for them would be the Chinese Jade Plant.

Plants are of the element wood which also happens to be the element associated with the wealth and prosperity area of your home or room, i.e. the south east corner. This means that placing any healthy green plant in this corner will activate your wealth luck, but having a Chinese jade plant will make the attraction even more powerful. Its succulent thick green leaves are synonymous with the color and gem jade and some households even have real jade gem tree ornaments for this purpose in their home. It is most important that if you have the real Chinese jade plant that you keep it healthy. Any dryness or wilting of the plant will instead attract stagnant bad energy which would be very bad on your finances. Feng Shui Wedding Gift

The Chinese Gods of Wealth

You may have seen these statuettes in Chinese supermarkets, Chinatown or in Chinese family homes. They are the 3 old and wise Chinese gods of wealth, Fuk, Luk and Sau. They are often found together with Fuk, the god of wealth and happiness in the center, Luk, the god of high rank and affluence on the right and Sau, the god of longevity on the left. You may have also come across the laughing Buddha statue. In feng shui, he is another symbol of wealth and luck. These are believed to be very powerful wealth objects for your home and make an ideal feng shui gift.

Ancient Chinese Coins and Red Ribbon

Another popular wealth symbol or symbols rather, in feng shui are the Chinese I Ching coins. These are traditionally round, gold colored coins symbolizing the unity of heaven and earth. They have squares cut out of the middle with one side representing Yin and one Yang and Chinese characters featured on each. They act as money magnets in feng shui and you'll usually find them in batches of three and tied together with either red ribbon or red string and placed Yang side up (the side with four Chinese characters). They come in threes as one coin symbolizes luck from heaven, one coin luck from earth and one coin luck from man. These make the perfect feng shui gift because they are small enough to keep in your purse or hung in your south east corner for wealth luck without being too protruding.

You can also tape three coins to your work table or sales invoice books in the south east corner or bury 9 of them under the entrance to your home or place them under the entrance mat to your apartment. This is a very powerful wealth activator and will attract money to your doorstep and into your life.

You can find these feng shui gifts in any Chinese supermarket or if you're lucky to have one in your city, a Chinatown. Make sure that if you're giving any of these great feng shui gifts to others, that you mention how they should be used effectively, for placed in the wrong areas, they will not work effectively. But who says you have to give them away, perhaps you want them for yourself. Don't you deserve a little more wealth and prosperity in your life? Feng Shui Wedding Gift

Feng Shui For Career Advancement - 10 Great Feng Shui Tips For Your Business Or Home Office to Bring Harmony & Wealth

Feng Shui For Career Advancement

Most of us spend a lot of time in office for work. Regardless of whether it is in your employer's office or your home office, the office environment can at times be very challenging. Relationship with your colleagues or business partners is a very important factor to unpleasant office politics. Feng Shui For Career Advancement

While you are working hard and smart to be a better employee and making yourself more valued at the workplace you should enlist the help of Feng Shui to enhance your career success. Feng shui is about balancing the chi or energy around your surroundings. By balancing the energy in your environment, your own energy will be in harmony, and you will draw to you, people and opportunities that reflect this balance.

Here are 10 great feng shui tips to help create harmony at the workplace and to make your career advancement smooth sailing:

1. Good Support Behind The Back Of Your Sitting Position

The most important feng shui tips in the office is to make sure that you are seated with a good support behind your back. It is extremely important that your back faces a wall or some solid surface. You must never sit with your back facing a door or windows as this makes you vulnerable to "backstabbing" and "betrayals" in the office. If the back of your sitting position is a window, it is very inauspicious as it represents a lack of support. Close the windows behind you or hang a painting of mountains behind your back to provide you with good support.

2. Clearing The Clutter In Your Office

Clutter like unfinished projects, unused papers, unresolved works, disorganized office stationery and files are extremely bad feng shui to you. Your career will become a mess and you stand no chance of any career advancements. Clutter is like emotional constipation - it bogs you down. By clearing your clutter and arranging your office desk nicely, you create space for new things and your energy and creativity will increase.

3. Choose Your Office Desk In Your Success Position

Place your desk in your success position. Your success position will bring you great success and awesome career advancement in your career. You can know your success position by calculating your KUA number (or Star Number). Our feng shui website teaches you on how to calculate your person KUA number and how to apply feng shui in your work and career to bring great income luck and success. In addition, the ideal placement for your computer and desk is in a position that allows you to see the door of your office. If this is not possible, you can restore good Feng Shui by placing a small mirror on your desk that gives you a clear view of the door.

4. Place A Healthy Small Potted Plant On Your Desk

A plant will bring life into your workspace and will also absorb toxins in the air. My recommendation is to place a Money Plant on your office desk to attract career luck and income luck. The money plant can also help you ward off office politics and unpleasant things in your working environment. A plant on your table is also able to boost you creativity. Research has shown that you will be happier when there is greenery on your table. Feng Shui For Career Advancement

5. Avoid Sitting Directly Facing Someone Else

Do try to avoid sitting at a work desk that is directly facing someone else at your opposite. This is bad feng shui as if you are seated in a position where you constantly face another person, there will certainly be accumulation of bad and confrontational Chi enery between the both of you. Consequently, this will definitely lead to conflicts and unpleasant arguments.

6. Do Not Sit Under A Strong Exposed Beam

You will be working under great pressure if there is a structural beam or bright light above where you are working. The bright beam or light will make you irritable and do your work impulsively. One good way to overcome the situation is to renovate the ceiling so that it is flat.

7. Separate Your Workspace In Your Bedroom

Feng shui do not recommend having a workspace in your bedroom as the bedroom is a place of rest. If you must have your workspace in your bedroom, try to partition it off with a screen. You can place a curtain or a screen to separate your work desk with your bed. In feng shui, work and sleep are two conflicting energies: Work is very yang and sleep is very yin, hence both must not mix together. In addition, a relaxing sleep will enhance your work productivity.

8. Display Crystals At Your Work Desk

In feng shui, crystals are great tool to absorb negative energies at work. If you want to avoid office politics and to make sure your career is smooth-sailing, you should display small crystal balls on your desk to ensure that everything goes smoothly at work.

9. Use Only One Door In Your Office

Do use only one door in your office, if there are more, keep them closed. This is because you only want your wealth and money luck to come to you in the only door and will not escape from other doors. Use only one door in your office if you don't want your money to escape.

10. Carry A Jade Cicada With You

If you want to block off any office politics in the office, buy a jade cicada and carry it in your bags or hide it under your files and documents so that it would not be seen. Jade Cicada is a powerful feng shui tool to help you avoid confrontations and conflicts in the office. It is also able to bring good luck to your working environment. Feng Shui Door Facing

Build the life you always wanted! Make your living and working environment inviting, stimulating and comfortable!

Feng Shui is an age-old wisdom originated from ancient China some 3000 years ago. It is the culture of society and economics, the embodiment of culture stability pass down from generation to generation.

Feng Shui involves the study of landscape, air, space, location, time, sunshine and humidity. It is the knowledge of directing, balancing and harmonizing those forces called chi. It differs person to person and from place to place. Different people in different place will have different experience.

The Ba Gua or the eight trigrams is a set of symbols representing the universe. The formation and permutation of the Ba Gua is associated with the human affairs as well as the natural phenomenon. The Ba Gua is one of the most sacred symbols in the ancient Chinese culture. It symbolizes the relationship between Heaven, Earth & Man and the time. It penetrates into various studies of economics, politics, military science, philosophy, literature, medical science, the martial art and architecture.

Every one of us lives under the influence of two inseparable field of chi, above us is the immeasurable vastness of space and below us is the invariable power of earth. This is where we lives and raise our family. It is our home.

Here are some free Feng Shui tips for you:

Feng Shui Tip 1: The Effect of Electrical Appliances on Feng Shui

In Feng Shui, the auspicious areas of a house should be kept as spacious as possible so that the positive energy can be flow smoothly. There should not any obstruction to the flow of Chi (or Qi) in auspicious sectors. Thus, big or heavy furniture items should not be placed there. This is also an important concept in the practice of Vastu Shastra.

In Feng Shui, sound and electrical energy have the effect of activating Feng Shui stars (good or bad). Therefore, the placement of electrical appliances such as television, radio, fan or computer can affect the Feng Shui of a house. These electrical appliances should be placed at the auspicious sectors. Furniture which can be placed at the inauspicious sectors includes sofa, cupboard, etc.

Generally speaking, the left side of a living room is the Green Dragon while the right side is the White Tiger. The Green Dragon is considered auspicious while the White Tiger is considered inauspicious. Electrical appliances should generally be placed at the left side of the living room while the big furniture like cupboard or sofa should be placed at the right side of the room.

Feng Shui Tip 2: Road That Curves Away From a House

In Feng Shui, roads are the modern version of water. Thus, the curvature of a road affects the Feng Shui of a house. A road that curves away from a house facing the entrance creates a strong and negative flow of energy called Shar Chi (Sha Qi) towards the house. Since water represents wealth in Feng Shui, the presence of such as a road will have a negative wealth effect on the inhabitants of the house.

To solve this problem, place a windscreen in front of the entrance to prevent the negative Shar Chi (Sha Qi) from "entering" the entrance directly.

Feng Shui Tip 3: A Long Straight Road That Creates Shar Chi (Sha Qi)

In Feng Shui, a long straight road facing a house can create Shar Chi (Sha Qi) to the house. The longer the road is, the stronger the Shar Chi (Sha Qi) that is created. Inhabitants of a house facing this Shar Chi (Sha Qi) will encounter problems like accidents or other "blood-shedding" incidents such as having to undergo a surgery or operation.

The easiest way to solve this problem is to place a windscreen in front of the door or entrance. This will prevent the Shar Chi (Sha Qi) from entering the house directly. Feng Shui Door Facing

Feng Shui Tip 3 : A Door That Faces Another Door

In Feng Shui, a door facing another door can create Shar Chi (Sha Qi) between the two doors. There are four possible scenarios:

(a) Main door of a house facing main door of another house

In this scenario, the inhabitants of both houses are likely to be quick-tempered and quarrel frequently. To solve this problem, place a windscreen in front of the door.

(b) A room door facing a toilet door

This scenario takes place within a house. Besides problems of quick tempers and frequent quarrels, the inhabitants staying in the room might develop digestive and urinary diseases. To solve this problem, place a windscreen in front of the toilet door if the room is big enough. If there is not enough room for a windscreen, simply close the toilet door.

(c) A room door facing a kitchen entrance

This scenario is not as problematic as the first two scenarios. Nonetheless, inhabitants of the room will be prone to accidents and minor injuries and if the problem persists over time, inhabitants might encounter major accidents. To solve this problem, place a windscreen or hang a bead curtain in front of the kitchen entrance.

(d) A room door facing another room door

This scenario is the least harmful of the four. Tempers might erupt occasionally and if inhabitants are working in an office environment, office politics will occur frequently. To solve this problem, place a bead curtain in front of the room door.

Feng Shui Tip 4: Locating An Auspicious Main Door

The main door plays an important role in the Feng Shui of a house. Thus, it is important that the main door is located in an auspicious sector of a house. Generally speaking, the main door should be located in a position which enables positive Chi (Qi) to flow into the house.

If there is a pond or empty space in front of a house, the main door should be located at the centre of the house facing the pond or empty space.

If a road passes by the front of a house and slopes from left to right (or the left side of the road is longer than the right side as seen from the front of a house), the main door should be located at the right side of the house facing the road.

If a road passes by the front of a house and slopes from right to left (or the right side of the road is longer than the right side as seen from the front of a house), the main door should be located at the left side of the house facing the road.

A windscreen can be used to correct the location of an inauspicious main door. Feng Shui Door Facing
