In the last newsletter, we discussed how the energy that enters your home is closely connected to the flow of opportunity, prosperity, and abundance in your life.
So if you want to increase the flow of abundance, it is important not only to invite the chi energy into your home, but also to make sure it does not leak out as quickly as it comes in.
So, what can you do?
One of the most common architectural issues that can cause this kind of energy leak occurs when there is a window or glass door directly opposite your front door.
If this is the case in your home, this is definitely worth addressing.For this, we can use a classic Feng Shui cure — and a very simple tool.
One of the best tools for helping to distribute and circulate energy is a finely tuned wind chime.
Yes, I know, wind chimes have become almost synonymous with Feng Shui, so they may seem too simple or obvious! But in truth, they really can work beautifully.
I realised how powerful a chime could be years ago, when I was living in New York. I had a chime in my living room, and one day I decided to ring it quite loudly.
And guess what happened?
The metal chandelier on the other side of the room actually began to swing from the vibration!
At that moment, I understood in a very physical way how much energy a chime can move through a space.
If you have energy that seems to rush through your home after entering from the front door, you can hang a chime in the front hall to help the chi circulate more fully into the home.
Or, if there is a window or glass door at the opposite end of the entrance line, you can hang the chime a few feet before that window, helping to spread and disperse the energy before it leaks out.
